Welp, so much for winter… right?
It’s now the beginning of March, and the temperature is hanging out in the mid 50s here. So I guess it’s safe to say winter is officially over (was it ever really here?) And what better way to ring in the new season than with a pair of lively and whimsical earrings from WOLL Jewelry.
I first discovered WOLL at the Renegade Craft Fair in San Francisco during the holiday season last year. And I was instantly drawn to their bright, vintage-inspired jewelry line. Their pieces are a little bit 60s and a little bit 90s, rolled into a collection of highly unique but very wearable styles. WOLL is the brainchild of human angel Elizabeth Woll. She lives and works in San Francisco, where she makes her laser-cut pieces. Her jewelry has been featured in Teen Vogue, Refinery29, and Women’s Wear Daily!
“That looks like something a child would wear,” is one of the highest compliments you can give me. And WOLL’s line is the perfect accessory to a childlike ensemble. As we grow up, we begin to replace the colors and patterns of youth with the muted tones of adulthood. I think we begin to favor colors that feel “sophisticated” (yawn boring), and shy away from too much bright color and pattern. We focus too much on blending in, rather than standing out. But who even made those rules?? Imagine the possibilities of a outfit if you removed the pressure to look your age!
Take a peek at the WOLL jewelry line and reignite some of that childlike sense of play and whimsy in your wardrobe!
