Spring Trends & Pastel Hair

Willing spring to arrive with florals and pink hair

Florals for Spring? Groundbreaking.

I don’t care how trite they are, florals for spring will always get me excited! They’re colorful, they’re feminine, they’re versatile. What’s not to love? Among florals, here are some other trends I’m pumped to see continue on from last year. Now, I’m not necessarily going to try every one of them (here’s looking at you Furry Sandals), but I think these trends are here to stay… for at least another season:

What trends are you most interested in trying? I for one can’t get enough of the Micro Bag trend. They’re so impractical—like seriously, I can’t even fit my phone in there—but so dang cute.

I recently scored this cutesie vintage jumpsuit from Dusty Rose Vintage, which is one of my favorite vintage/thrift shops ever. I know I say that a lot, but this time I’m serious. Dusty Rose is both a wholesale warehouse and a curated vintage shop. You can dive into the meticulously-sorted bins in the back of the warehouse, or shop the curated boutique in the front. Did y’all see my ‘gram of the warehouse from a few weeks ago? And they have an Etsy store. Hell yes for you non-locals!

Scroll down to shop my fave floral jumpsuits, and if you’re aching for a basket bag, check this post for my picks!

Styling hack: Pop a flower hair clip on your summer bag for some added color and texture!

We would have to dye you blondie first, but it can be done!

PLEASE, PLEASE try the furry slides! I would love to see how you style them! I have a pair and I wore them with a vintage cream silk blouse and vintage army trousers, my hair pulled in a tight, low bun! The fur slides are generally very out of my norm, but they are so fun (and comfy) to wear!

That outfit sounds so dreamy! Honestly, now that I said that I won’t try that trend, I can’t stop looking at furry slides online! Gahhh! I might have to go back on my word! Haahahaha Anything for comfort and a little bit of pizazz!
