Size Inclusive Sustainable Brands 2021

Reader request alert! This one came from y’all, and I am so glad you encouraged me to make this blog post. As someone who comfortably exists in the bubble of straight sizes, it’s easy to overlook that SO MANY gals (and guys and n/b folks) cannot shop the straight size rack. I also think it’s important for straight sized folks to support brands (with their dollas) who create inclusive size ranges.

All of the brands included in this post are “certifiable slow fashion” companies who carry sizes up to at least 3x. You can read my starter guide to sustainable/ethical brands here (not size inclusive). Note: I am still on the hunt for a Black-owned sustainable/ethical size-inclusive brand, so please send ’em my way if you know of a great one!

Thank you to my Internet friends Lydia (@styleistyle), Sydney (@ohhhhhhhhhoney), Nic (@nic.taliaferro) and Lydia (@lydiahudgens) who are constantly teaching me more about inclusive fashion and pushing me to be a more inclusive human. Without these incredible folks I would not know about half of the brands on this list.

I like The Standard Stitch. They are size inclusive (XS-5X)- which is unheard of! They are also ethically made in LA, and use sustainable materials. I like their colors too.
