It’s been a minute since I shared a vintage shop with y’all. And, to be honest, I almost don’t want to tell you about this one and keep all her stuff for myself. Muahahahaha *evil laugh*
But seriously, I can honestly say that every single item in Luxie Vintage’s shop feels like it was hand picked just for me. When she posted this jumpsuit on Insta I screamed internally (maybe a little externally too) and had to make it mine. It’s that perfect mix of timeless chic and retro cool—the combination I’m constantly striving for. Luxie Vintage has been around since 2013, when the owner Cory realized she could turn her vintage hunting/hoarding obsession into a legit business. Cory searches for unique vintage pieces that can seamlessly work within a modern wardrobe. Which is probably the reason I’m so drawn to her collections.
I actually got this jumpsuit out of season. You can see me talk about it in my Winter Haul YouTube video. And I wasn’t able to wear it for months, that felt like years, because of the weather. And it was literally (you know I mean figuratively) torture. To keep this look on the modern spectrum, I paired the jumpsuit with some streamlined contemporary pieces: a skinny belt with matching silver snake sandals, and the translucent bag that everyone and their mother are rocking these days.
Psst: Another reason to love Luxie Vintage (like you even need one): she carries plus size vintage! And not just oversized caftans. Like, actual cute, fitted, plus size pieces. One of my biggest pet peeves with vintage clothing is that it can be very size exclusive. So I am always pumped when I find shops who don’t only cater to sizes 0-4.
